Community Supporters

Abingdon Elementary School is fortunate to have the dedicated support of the parents of current students, residents in the surrounding community of Fairlington, and leaders within our local community. Currently, three organizations work throughout the year to support our school. We encourage you to learn more about each organization and become involved in making Abingdon the best school for our children.

The PTA is comprised of parents, teachers and staff playing an active role to better the opportunities available to Abingdon students.
Friends of Abingdon Neighborhood School (FANS) are parents, residents and community leaders united in support of Abingdon School. FANS acts to draw positive attention to the school by publicizing its activities and strengths, organize get-togethers where current and prospective parents meet each other and learn about the school, and create partnerships between the school and its surrounding communities.
Change Education Through the Arts (CETA) organizes professional development for our teachers to maximize the learning opportunities given to each Abingdon student.
