This is my 26th year of teaching and 23rd at Abingdon. I teach a special called Living Histories, which I created in coordination with teaching artists from the Kennedy Center. The class integrates social studies, drama and visual art. This year, I am working with kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and fourth grade. I am also our school’s CETA (Changing Education Through the Arts) coordinator with the Kennedy Center.
