Abingdon Says “Thank You, Mrs. Uyeda!”

Abingdon is celebrating Principal Appreciation Week January 22nd through the 28th. We would like to take this time to recognize our amazing principal, Joanne Uyeda! Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe stated, “The role of the principal as the instructional leader of the school is critically important to ensure students are provided the opportunity to learn. Our principals work diligently to help students and teachers excel, and their leadership and hard work are essential to the success of our schools. They deserve all the recognition and praise we can give them.” This definitely applies to our enthusiastic principal, Ms. Joanne Uyeda.  Be sure to show your appreciation for our hard-working school leader, not only this week but all year long!
